I just finished a lumpectomy, 4 rounds of chemo, 33 rounds of radiation. I’ll start 10 years of estrogen-lowering medication in 2 weeks. I wonder how much PTSD plays into the cancer journey? This can also cause anxiety & depression, wreaking havoc on memory & concentration. Mind-body connection?

Chemo brain for me started around my third cycle of chemotherapy, which was a year ago. I also had surgery and radiation. I am currently on an oral chemotherapy and hormone blocker. My biggest issues were short term memory and finding the right word. I made lists. My fog is finally clearing (without medication) and I am hoping it will soon clear completely.
