I was the person in which Dr. Jay Levi was able to identify the KS virus. I gave three skin samples and about 20 tubes of blood. I've been HIV+ since 1981. My KS was systemic and I required chemotherapy. I began Doxil at UCSF Mount Zion. I developed Anaphylaxis, stoped breathing, but obviously survived. I then transferred to Stanford and switched to Taxol. All that was in 1995. All my medical records are intact and available for research. Contact me.
