Can this method be used to deliver the Delta 32 mutation into HIV patients? Is research being conducted into this potential cure breakthrough? It would be ironic to use HIV as a vector to create a modified immune system resistant to HIV.

This story makes me wonder if the virus now known as HIV was used in the 1970s in treatment attempts against cancer - in Nixon's so-called "War on Cancer". Would any admission be made if it had been?
