Why was this study capped at 45? Is there some assumption that we already have all the variations of the virus, or that 50-year-olds are more likely to be in exclusive relationships then 45-year olds? 45 isn't typically post-menopausal. Please tell me the study wasn't capped because of some cost-benefit analysis.

No, it’s not just you! I wasn’t afraid of STDs when I was in my early 20s but now I’m afraid of getting one. I wouldn’t want most of my life to revolve around dealing with a horrible infection that couldn’t be treated successfully. I really wish more vaccines would be developed as well as better treatment options. This issue really needs to be a priority and more funding needs to go towards it. Screening is not enough.

I just read this article again. I think it would be / is well worthwhile for any sexually active adult who hasn't had this HPV Multi Vaccination to go get it.

I am so exasperated. Not only are there so many different herpes viruses, but there are so many other ones, too. It seems now that if I became sexual with anyone, even with a condom, then I'd likely be exposed to a few virus types. And if I became sexual with someone without a condom then I'd be exposed to a few more virus types... Big sssighhh... Just what is the point of living?! Viruses are everywhere! Is it just me who is so exasperated?
