There is no demonstrated reduction of prostate cancer mortality from PSA screening. Claims that there is are based on a mistaken statistical inference from lumping together several inconsistent trials. Thus there is no trade-off in PSA screening. The only demonstrated consequences are harms. There are no demonstrated mortality benefits.
