How can I not be happy for someone who has finished a treatment phase? I had cancer during every celebration that went on around me. I CHOOSE be happy for them. Just like anything else in life. I don’t care that the crap keeps coming at ME. Someone is done. It does not change anything for me, but someone is happy for a fleeting moment. I don’t live FOR cancer, I live with it. I put on a song and dance out! Everyone including patients clapped and danced in the chairs.
