Dan, I was diagnosed in 2012, had my prostate removed a couple of months later. My margins were near the edges of the prostate so they had me do radiation a few months later; a 10 week process. A little over two years ago my psa started going up again so I started hormone therapy and that knocked my psa to non-detectable. I now get my shot every six months and get my psa done every three months. Minor side affects such as hot flashes but feel that is better than the alternative. Howard
