I’m sorry you had cancer. However, survivor’s guilt is unnecessary. Your being alive helps you and your loved ones. Your dying wouldn’t have helped anyone. As for wishing you’d taken the place of friends who died, really? You hate being alive so much, you’d rather have died? Hard to believe. I have a friend who has GBM. He sure wants to live, and do his wife and other loved ones. I’d rethink some of what you’ve felt. I had stage 1, triple-positive IDC, 22 years ago.
