2024 Tampa Bay: Walk to End Colon Cancer


Event Information:

Join us at Gadsden Park on March 2, 2024 to walk to end colorectal cancer. Register today, fundraise and build your team, and get ready to walk.

For those not able or not yet comfortable being in person, walk in your own neighborhood as a virtual walker.

Time:

9:00 AM: Participant arrival.

Survivors:  Visit the Survivor tent/table to pick-up your t-shirt and medal!

Participants: Who Raise $100+: Stop by the Fundraiser t-shirt pick-up tent/table to grab your shirt! Note: Teams--each team member must raise $100 or more to pick-up their t-shirt at this station.

Everyone: Before the opening ceremony, pick-up a bib, your noise maker, gather with your team and visit the expo area!

9:30 AM: Start of the Opening Ceremony, including patient and survivor recognition.

10:00 AM: The Walk to End Colon Cancer starts.

11:15 AM: Rolling Close: As you finish the walk, stop by the DJ booth to announce your commitment to ending colorectal cancer in the mic, What you will do this year to cancel colorectal cancer?!

Parking Parking is located near the playground and ballfields.

Course Details:

The course is one two loops around the lake that measures 2 miles in total. Participants are welcome to walk the loop once or three times to make it a 5K! Furry friends are permitted to attend, but they must be up-to-date on shots and cannot be on a retractable leash.
