IASLC World Conference on Lung Cancer
We encourage physicians, nurses, other clinicians, researchers and scientists as well as patients and advocates in the lung cancer field and those interested in any aspect of thoracic oncology to attend this Conference. It is only through an exchange of the widest variety of research that we can offer the best program and benefits to our members and patients.
The 2020 IASLC World Conference on Lung Cancer | Singapore will now be a fully virtual event. The decision, while difficult, was made in consideration of a variety of factors including the strict travel and entry restrictions into Singapore for the foreseeable future. These uncertainties will affect the ability of delegates, speakers, presenters and exhibitors to participate in a live event in Singapore in January. While we are disappointed that we will not gather in person, we are encouraged about the opportunities presented by this virtual conference. We recognize that many in the thoracic oncology community have already contributed a great deal of time, energy and money into helping prepare for WCLC 2020 and we expect that the preparations already undertaken will help set the stage to an exceptional virtual meeting.
Our comprehensive virtual program will deliver the knowledge and networking-rich conference experience that you have come to expect from our in-person events. A digital platform offers many additional exciting possibilities including an even wider and more inclusive outreach than a live event alone.
If you have already registered, your registration will be automatically transferred to the virtual meeting and any difference in fees will be refunded by August 28, or you can choose to donate any potential refund to the ILC Foundation, to support lung cancer research. If you wish to cancel your registration completely, please request a full refund here no later than August 28, 2020. Cancellations received after August 28, 2020, may be subject to the standard cancellation policy.
