GIST Awareness Day
July is Sarcoma Awareness Month. As GIST is the most common type of sarcoma, we wanted to align with this established celebration in order to also bring attention to this rarest group of cancers we find ourselves among. Celebrating on the 13th day of the month is a reference to the Rare 13 campaign, which served as the launching pad to this day, and the impetus to dream big.
