I’ve had luck reversing chronic neck pain by eliminating sugar & gluten. I know it sounds new age-y /faddish, but for me it honestly worked.

I had an inflamed disc pinching a nerve in my lower back a few months ago. The muscles around the disc, in order to protect the injury, began to spasm causing a more extreme pain than the pinched nerve. I called my doctor for muscle-relaxant pills. He asked me to try a pain relief patch first, and he would call in the pills. I was extremely skeptical about using a silly patch, but bought a few. I was shocked how well it worked within 36 hrs, I canceled the Rx for the pills.

After medications failed for my peripheral neuropathy and chronic low back pain, I had a spinal cord stimulator implanted. It is an outpatient surgical procedure that is very easily tolerated. I recommend the Nevro HF 10 device as it is the only one you use that is paratheseia free when used. Also spinal cord stimulators allow a trial before surgery for 5 to 7 days using a trans-cutaneous approach. Google their website for more info. 20 years of pain stopped. Best thing I ever did!
