Thank you for this article! I am a 3 time cancer survivor (colon, breast & endometrial serous carcinoma type 2). I related to family & friends wanting us to be happy when treatment ended. But patients feel like we have invisible darts surrounding us ready to hit us with a new cancer or a recurrence of a previous one. My oncologist said I had no reason to be so scared anymore when treatment ended for my 3rd cancer, a very aggressive one at that! I’m not who I once was. That’s ok!
