As a woman with Atypical Nevus Syndrome who has lost both parents to malignant melanoma, this is a great development. I've had more than my share of BCC, (and have just been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.) My biggest concern is having something missed at quarterly skin checks as was my dad's case. Hopefully this increases the chance of early detection of changes in moles. Especially for those like me with what I call "connect the dots" skin. Genetics certainly increases my chances of MM.
