Our friends at the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) will host the Pittsburgh Mid Mon Valley Walk to End Bladder Cancer on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Mingo Park. The Walks to End Bladder Cancer are BCAN’s signature awareness events and take place in numerous cities throughout the United States. Raising awareness about bladder cancer, the sixth most commonly diagnosed cancer in the US, saves lives. These walks also generate critical funds that enable BCAN to offer educational resources and support programs free of charge, advance research, serve more patients and families, and continue as the leading provider of bladder cancer services and information in the country.
