Introduction
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men; anyone can be diagnosed with the disease, including athletes at the top of their game.
The following professional baseball stars were diagnosed with prostate cancer. But these men have used their celebrity to encourage others to get tested for and educated about this disease. This includes being involved with Fans for the Cure, a nonprofit organization that promotes the early detection and treatment of prostate cancer.
